Hello,
At first glance, the type of pain described sounds like inflammation/stretching at the muscle level.
In order to relieve your symptoms, the use of pain medication (acetaminophen) , anti-inflammatory medication (ibuprofen) and/or a muscle relaxant (ex: orphenace) or a combination of these agents (ex: robaxplatin, robaxacet ) may help. It would be very important to make sure that there are no contraindications based on your allergies, health problems, medications, etc. The muscle relaxant may make you sleepy, so it is recommended to take it at bedtime or make sure you are not driving when using it.
It would also be recommended to do stretching exercises to help with healing. Consulting a professional such as a physiotherapist, massage therapist or osteopath could guide you.
After the pain persists, worsens, or feels like a tightness in the chest, then it will be important to see a doctor!
