Hello,
I am currently on a long term trip. I did FreeDive (apnea) and scuba diving (over 5 days), exactly 10 days ago. The first day, I had difficulty balancing one ear (the left one), but the other days it went well. Then I had neck and trapezius pain on the same side that I had trouble balancing. On the third day, I got seasick when I never get seasick. The pain in my neck has persisted since then. I don't have an itch, but a feeling that there is something in my ear. Visually, the ear canal in my left ear is reduced by half compared to the right. I have discomfort in my ear without having acute pain. My ear is not swollen or red. I was in Malaysia for diving in an area where there are many plankton and the water varied between 26 and 30°C. As mentioned, I am on a long term trip (1 year). My doctor before leaving prescribed antibiotics just in case (novo azithromycin 250mg, co). I have 18 pills (3 doses of 6 pills) and my spouse has the same dose (if ever). I am wondering if I should go to the clinic or if I can take a dose of antibiotics before going to the clinic.
Thank you

Personally, I will go and consult, because we do not necessarily have any expertise with the problems caused in places like Malaysia except for traveler's diarrhea
