Hello, my son is allergic to horses. He has been in contact with a horse. We gave him Benadryl, but he has itchy eyes and a puffy face. His breathing is fine. Can I give him a dose of Reactin? He took the Benadryl about an hour and a half ago just before the horse ride. Thank you! I'll know for next time!

Hello, what dose of benadryl did you give? For his weight you can give 19ml in one dose. This is much more than the recommendation on the box but is the right dose for his weight of 19kg (43lbs). You could complete the missing ml. Indeed, you can combine with reactine. The latter will cause less drowsiness.
