Hello!
Yes, you can give Advil from 6 months of age without any problem, as long as the child does not show signs of dehydration, which should not be the case for teething. It is even possible to alternate between advil and tylenol when using only one or the other does not seem sufficient
Would you like me to calculate the exact dose to give him according to his weight?

Thank you, on the box it says 4-11 months to give 1.0 ml and that is in his weight, the only thing I'm not sure about is when to give him and at what interval ex if I give him tylenol at 9am I give him advil how long after and how long after I can give him tylenol again?
thank you very much

On the box it is indeed a safe range, but it is always better to give the exact dose that corresponds to the child's weight. If you want to, of course. Sometimes with the exact weight you can give a little more than what is indicated on the box and that can make the difference on the child's comfort!
Otherwise, there is no minimum interval between a dose of tylenol and a dose of advil. You could even give both at the same time. However, in order to optimize the efficiency, if you want to give them alternately, you can give
Tylenol -> 3h later advil -> 3h later tylenol and so on. This way, there is a dose every 3 hours but the interval between two doses of tylenol or two doses of advil is always 6 hours. With this method, it is however important to note somewhere the medication that was given and the time, to be sure not to give the same medication twice consecutively!

Okay for the calculation, my daughter weighs 15 lbs.
thank you

For 15lbs, the dose is 68mg, or 1.7ml every 6 hours while eating
*Just make sure that you have the advil infant at home, concentrated at 200mg/5ml
