Can I give Benadryl to a 6 month old baby?

Hi, My 6 1/2 month old daughter seems to be having an allergic reaction. I gave her peanut butter this morning. I had introduced the allergen before, but I am not sure if she had swallowed much. Can I give her bendadril? If so, how much? She weighs 17 lbs. And do I need to see a doctor to be referred to an allergist? She does not have a family doctor.

Hello Mrs,
In order to better understand her needs, would it be possible to describe the allergic reaction? If possible, please upload some well-lit images
Thank you for your help!

Hello Mr. Samaha, The reaction is cutaneous. She has small red spots all over her arms and stomach.

Hello ma'am, thanks for the feedback!
It's hard to tell from the pictures if it's an allergic reaction
If your child has a fever, you will need to see a doctor quickly. You can give him Benadryl if your child seems uncomfortable or itchy (if so, your pharmacist will be able to tell you the exact dose depending on your child's weight and the concentration of the product chosen).
If this is not the case, the application of a fragrance-free moisturizer such as Aveeno, for example, as often as necessary during the day, is recommended. Monitor the symptoms and his general condition for now. He should remain in good condition and still be able to drink/eat.
I hope this has been helpful and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
