Do I need to consult/concerned about the absence of menstruation for 7 years?

Hello, I'm explaining my situation...I started my period at the age of 12 (I'm now 20), I was regular for a year or a year and a half, but "overnight" my period never came back... I was always told it was no big deal, that I was just lucky and so on (including my family doctor)
