Does RAMQ covers the freestyle Libre for a person over 18 but with high risk pregnancy ?

I have Genes Diabètes (MODY 3 or 5, still doing some test) and I’m 26 years old. I do not have private insurance and I was wondering if the RAMQ would cover for FREESTYLE LIBRE. I am planing on getting pregnant in the next few months, I started Folic Acid 5mg a week ago and I’m going to see my diabetes doctor in 2 weeks.

Good evening,
In Quebec, only patients who are treat with insulin and who fit one of those three criteria are considered for reimbursement from the Government (RAMQ):
- intensive insulin therapy;
- frequent or severe hypoglycemia problems;
- the necessity of glycemia self-monitoring a minimum of eight times per day;
Si I'd say that your situation doesn't fit in the reimbursement requirements.
