Does my boyfriend needs to see a Dr or can he just get a prescription?

The best thing to do is to go see a doctor. He will be able to do a full checkup and make sure there are no other problems. But, if you think it is possible that your boyfriend neglects to do that, the next best thing is to go to a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist to prescribe an antibiotic for him too. With the new law for pharmacists, we can prescribe if we know that a patient needs a treatment but will most likely not go see a doctor.
