The goal of pharmacology for pain relief is not necessarily to completely remove the pain, this is impossible in most cases. The goal is to provide some relief, but more importantly to maintain your ability to carry out your daily activities
That being said, in addition to medication, I strongly suggest physiotherapy treatments if you are willing to receive them; most group insurances provide this type of service
Finally, there are many pharmacological options that can be tried (without expecting miracles)
To make recommendations, however, it is important to know your medical history and what has been tried in the past for pain.
