Many tell me that it could be hives... is it possible for so long?

Rash since 7 days, quite light, some places with itching. Many people tell me that it would be hives. I have never had this problem and I have no known allergy.

I have had a mild rash in a few places that has been itchy for about 7 days. I have no known allergies. I have to admit that I started eating mangoes quite often since 1 to 2 months ago. But when I eat them, I don't have any reaction in the hours that follow so is it possible that it's that even if it's not at the time? Hives..? etc. I don't know the possibilities of what it could be.

i'm ruling out tics and all that because my spouse has absolutely nothing and it doesn't seem contagious either... I ate a mango tonight and I don't know if it's in my head but it looks like there are new itchy ''spots''. It looks like mini blistered pimples, and that by scratching ends up in mini scabies in the center...I'm trying to give as much information as possible 😅 but for the last 7 days, with the ones tonight, I've only eaten about 1 and a half mangoes...is that all that could cause this for 7 days?

Hello Mrs,
In the absence of symptoms other than itching, the basis of treatment is hydration of the skin and other non-pharmacological measures:
  • A fragrance-free moisturizer such as Aveeno, Cutibase, Base Glaxal, Cerave and others should be applied as often as needed. The cream should be applied whenever the need to scratch arises, among others.
  • Avoid perfumed soaps and, after the bath or shower, avoid rubbing the skin vigorously: instead, lightly pat the skin to leave a thin layer of moisture, then apply the moisturizing cream within 5 minutes of leaving the bath.
If non-pharmacological measures are insufficient, you should consult a physician for a thorough evaluation of your needs.
On the other hand, I suggest keeping a diary of what you consume during the day (as well as the quantities) to evaluate if there is a concordance with the occurrence of this symptom and its extent. This can take 4-8 weeks so I suggest being diligent.
I hope this has been helpful and am available if you have any further questions!
