My daughter complains of tightness?

30-year-old woman3 years ago
My 6 year old daughter is complaining more and more of a tightness in her heart. She has no particular illness or condition. Other than the stress of going back to school there is nothing new. Many say Advil, drink cold water. Yes, I will go see a doctor if it persists. What can I do in the meantime to help him?

Hello, thank you for your question!
Indeed, anxiety can greatly play on this tightness in the chest. A little anxiety is not abnormal, some people just need a longer period of adjustment and adaptation.
If the only symptom is this tightness, without pain or fever, I would not suggest giving Advil.
If you find that this symptom persists beyond the first month of school, or worsens, I suggest you see a doctor.
Sincerely
