After discussion with my doctor, I would like to change my contraceptive method because of a migraine with aura. I would like your advice?

I am currently taking Marvelon, and I have been given three options (IUD, Micronor and Depo-Provera). I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about the IUD, and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with this "foreign body". As for Micronor, I am very concerned about the oversight. I am currently leaning towards Depo Provera because of its ease of use. However, I am concerned about the side effects (weight gain, acne, depression). I have always tolerated oral contraceptives (Alesse, Marvelon and Yasmin) well. I have always been thin and move around a lot. I would like a second opinion. Thank you very much for your help.

Hello Ma'am,
I share your opinion about Depo-Provera. Many women who have used this contraceptive method have gained weight, despite being active.
With regard to the Micronor™, one should indeed not forget her pill for more than 3 hours, otherwise one should use an additional method (condom) for 48 hours, as explained here: https://www.chudequebec.ca/getmedia/2f673b85-fe6d-42b3-82fd-56113c3268ca/Micronor_planning.aspx
Finally, the IUD is a very good option in my opinion. Less expensive and impossible to forget, more and more women are leaning towards this solution if they are not planning to have children in the next few months.
Good evening :)
