Good morning, ma'am,
You did well with nasal hygiene, it is the cornerstone of the treatment, and should be done as often as necessary during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. There is no maximum number of times during the day
At this age, as with adults, syrups do not provide any more benefit than drinking lots of fluids, and syrups are not recommended.
Acetaminophen (Tylenol, Tempra and other brands) can be used to relieve a fever, but if it persists for more than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.
I have personally found that Vicks ointment, applied to the chest at bedtime, in addition to elevating the pillow at night, can help.
If your child has a temperature over 38 Celsius, this is considered a fever: you should see a doctor if it persists for more than 3 days.
If the situation persists for several weeks without improvement, in spite of the measures mentioned here, you should consult a doctor.
I hope to have been useful to you, I remain available if you have other questions
