My boy has eczema?

My two year old son seems to be having a severe hives or eczema reaction. What can I do to reduce the reaction that is getting worse every day?

Hello, thank you for your question!
How long has your child had this reaction? Are you able to identify the source of the problem (allergen, or simply eczema)?
Have you tried anything to date?

Hello, it's been 7 days now that he has a rash. If I could put a picture of it on the wall it would be so much easier, but if not, no change in the food or in the soaps for clothes or for washing.
I can't tell if it's eczema or hives because it's the first time he's had them and if I look at pictures of hives and eczema on a child, they look the same
He has a lot of little red pimples that are mostly centralized on his trunk, mainly on his back. At the beginning it was only small buttons under the arm and now it is made small red plates with the buttons in it. He also has them on his stomach, arms, face and legs. It's also itchy
Last night, we tried to make him take an oatmeal bath and this morning, the parts which were in the bath seem less red and pimpled (buttocks and legs)
We have tried two different creams, without success! Aveeno eczema and hellobello everywhere balm

Thank you for the information. However, it is still impossible to give an opinion without having first seen the lesions to which you refer (which is impossible here). I therefore recommend that you go to the pharmacy to show the lesions, either directly with your child or, even better, by bringing a photo.
The pharmacist on duty will be able to direct you to the right product based on his observations, or recommend a medical consultation if he deems it necessary.
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful at this time.
Sincerely
Tom Samaha, Pharmacist
