Why do I have to take letrozole from day 3 of my cycle?

39-year-old womana year ago
Hello, I'm trying to have a baby and the doctor prescribed letrazol. There are 5 pills in total. I have been researching on the internet and the first day of my period is the 3rd day of my period. But my md said I should start it on the first day of my period. I started it yesterday.

Good morning, ma'am,
You should usually start taking letrozole from day 3 to day 5 of your cycle because this is when your ovaries are getting ready to release an egg. Did your pharmacist give you any instructions on when to take it?

No, he did not give me any indication. What should I do now since I have already started taking it from day one? Should I be worried?

Thank you for the feedback.
You will need to contact your pharmacist to double-check the contents of the prescription and personalize the management of the situation with you and, if deemed necessary, he/she will contact the prescriber for clarification.
