Hello,
Roughly speaking, the differences between osteoarthritis and arthritis are as follows:
ARTHROSE:
  • It is not a disease in itself; it is rather the result of a progressive and normal wear and tear of the joints and articulations.
  • The elderly are the most often affected (although young people can also be affected, especially those who play sports)
  • It affects the articular cartilage; it is a mechanical affection.
  • It often affects only one side of the body, and is restricted to the hands and back.
ARTHRITIS:
  • This is an inflammatory disease of the joints, which may be of infectious (septic arthritis), immune (rheumatoid arthritis) or metabolic (gout) cause.
  • It can affect people of all ages, both young and old, depending on the type of arthritis involved.
  • It affects the joints (tendons, ligaments, muscles), as well as other organs such as the skin, eyes, heart, etc. It is an inflammatory disease.
  • It can affect several joints simultaneously. Very often, both sides of the body are affected.
For a slightly more detailed description of the differences between osteoarthritis and arthritis, I refer you to the PharmaChien page that explains it in its own way: http://lepharmachien.com/arthrite-arthrose/
I hope this answers your question. If there is anything else, please let me know and I will be happy to answer.

Thank you Mr. Tan for your answer.
.
I think I have a kidney turn on my right side. This pain is persisting since last Wednesday. I take Jamp-Acet-Tramadol (325mg-37.5mg ) 1 tablet 4 times a day and I rub myself with Voltarin. I regularly put on a magic bag from the freezer.
Also, I have pain in my right knee, which is why I was wondering about the difference between osteoarthritis and arthritis!
Questions!
Is it really a kidney turn, or a problem with my hip?
What about my knee pain?
There is a slight improvement since last Wednesday. But the pain is still there..
Thank you for your precious collaboration,

Hello again,
Thank you very much for your clarification! At first glance, I doubt that it is arthritis... If it's either, it's closer to osteoarthritis in that it only affects one part of your body. However, it may not be either one.
Do you know what may have caused the pain? Did you make a sudden movement or a false move before it happened?
It may take some time for the pain to go away completely; this is a case-by-case basis. However, if you have noticed an improvement in the last week, it is already a good sign. You have a good combination of Tramadol and Voltaren Emulgel. Since it's been more than 48 hours since the pain, you could try applying heat instead of cold; in most "kidney turns," heat works better, but if cold relieves you, stick with what works for you.
As for knee pain, it is possible that the pain has radiated to the legs and sometimes even to the foot. This is commonly referred to as the sciatic nerve
I hope this sheds some light on the problem. I remain available to answer and help you if you have any other questions or concerns.
Sincerely,

Good afternoon Mr. Tan
To relieve my knee pain and my kidney girth...
When I finish my Jamp-Acet-Tramadol (325mg-37.5mg ) and my Voltaren
Can I take Naproxen and Option brand tablets containing acetaminophen (analgesic) 500mg extra strength and methocarbamol (muscle relaxant) 400mg
I had started taking these medications before taking Jamp-Acet-Tramadol (325mg-37.5mg) and my Voltaren.
Thank you once again for your availability.

Hello (...),
Naproxen is an anti-inflammatory drug, just like Voltaren Emulgel, so ideally we prefer to limit ourselves to one anti-inflammatory drug at a time (unless otherwise indicated by your doctor). You can take naproxen with acetaminophen, but not naproxen with Voltaren
Alternatively, if you want to continue using Voltaren and have a complementary option to acetaminophen + methocarbamol, there is TYLENOL WITH CODEINE 8MG which is available behind the counter without a prescription (so ask the pharmacist). It is quite similar to Jamp-acet-Tramadol which also contains Tylenol (acetaminophen) and a codeine derivative. The level of drowsiness is quite comparable between the two, but the risk of addiction with codeine is 'slightly' higher than with Tramadol
I hope this answers your question. If there is anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me again.
