I had diarrhea all night and the next morning. I took tablets like Imodium following the dosage. I still suffer from cramps. What should I do?

Hello Ma'am,
It's possible to experience cramping when taking Imodium™ in the context of a stomach bug (which is possibly causing your diarrhea this time of year). This is because the body uses diarrhea as a means of protection, trying to expel the little virus out of the body. Taking Imodium™ suppresses this ability of the body to expel the virus (which causes cramping).
I recommend that you only take Imodium™ when you need to get out of the house and can't afford to run a bathroom (long road trip for example).
For now, avoid Imodium™ and use a hot water bottle on your belly, in addition to eating light foods (e.g., soups) and avoiding foods that are too acidic, sweet, or spicy.
If the cramps are still present in 5 days, you will need to go to a doctor.
Good day,
Alexander
