I still haven't had my bleeding after stopping the pill?

23-year-old woman2 years ago
I have been taking the pill continuously (3 months) for almost 5 years. I had my period in the middle of January, that is to say the week of the 17th, after which I stopped my contraceptive pill because I was travelling and I didn't have any extra. So I should have fallen back into my week around the 15th of February. I still haven't had my period and it worries me a lot... Is it normal since my body is used to be in its week at 3 months so it is all out of order?

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
Although the situation may seem unpleasant, it does not necessarily indicate a problem. It may take a few weeks for your menstrual cycle to normalize after you stop taking your contraceptive
If you did not have unprotected sex during your period of discontinuation, you can resume your contraceptive whenever you want :)
I hope this has been helpful to you, so please don't hesitate if you have any other questions!
