Should I reconsult? And do the antibiotics continue to work in the next few days?

Hi I was prescribed clarithromycin for 5 days, I finished the fela treatment 3 days. Less and I still have secretions moreover I have an orange pump that I have been using for almost 2 weeks... I feel like I am starting to cough more... do I continue my Pump? i don't really have a stuffy nose. For the moment I'm doing sinus rinse anyway, I'm still coughing with secretions so I figure sinus rinse is not bad. Thank you for your help.

Hello, ma'am, The cough is often the last symptom to go away and can persist for several weeks after this type of infection. Do you have any other symptoms such as a runny or stuffy nose right now, even a little? Thanks for the feedback! You did very well with Sinus Rinse which I encourage as often as necessary during the day and at least 30 minutes before bed. It's often the secretions from the sinuses that run down the back of the throat that cause the cough, like a leaky faucet. I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, as you prefer.
