Good morning, ma'am,
How long have you noticed this?
Has the swelling increased since it started or is it stable?

The swelling has been stable for 4 days, maybe a little more important in the evening. A 2 year old boy who is currently undergoing pulmonary investigation. I wonder if it could be a sign related to his respiratory or circulatory functions.

Thanks for the information, I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I hadn't seen the notification!
I would like to point out that this is rather unusual for the most common childhood illnesses. All in all, I am reassured that your child is being managed for his other conditions, and that you report that this is stable: In this case, I would only suggest that you monitor the situation closely.
If the swelling persists for more than 10 days without improvement or worsens, you will need to see a doctor so as not to delay management.
I will remain available if you have any other questions.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
