Hello, for the last 3 weeks the gastro is running at my daughter's daycare. My daughter had a stomach ache at the beginning of the week around January 16th with mini vomiting... followed by 18-19 disrhea... afterwards it returned to normal and she constipated. Since January 25th she doesn't eat much and has several liquid/diarrhea stools in her panties. She urinates and it comes out too. She doesn't eat much. Bread, cookies, soda, applesauce... pedialyte... sometimes she makes a gas and it makes a trace so it starts to worry me. While she was sleeping, she had an overflowing bowel movement without waking up. It worries me...

Should I go see his doctor?

Hello,
If I understand correctly, your daughter has been in contact with the gastro about 2 weeks ago, she has been eating less for the last 5 days and her stools are not as usual.
Has she had diarrhea in the last few days or only traces in her panties?
I would also like to know :
How old is your daughter?
Is she drinking well?
Is she urinating as often as usual?
Is her urine dark?
Do her stools look normal? Is there blood, black or white stool or mucus?
Does she have a fever?
Is she still complaining of stomach aches or other ailments?
I am waiting for your answers,
Marie-Laurence Gauthier, pharmacist.

Hello yes liquid disrhee since Wednesday. She is 2 years old. Sometimes gas comes out in stool and liquid sells too. No blood, no fever... she drinks well pedialyte, water... less appetite I don't force... she urinates as usual

Thank you for your answers!
The fact that she is drinking well is reassuring because dehydration is the main complication during diarrhea.
How much diarrhea per day?

It all depends... sometimes she has a fart in her panties... sometimes big liquid stools... yesterday 8-9 in all..

As it's been a long time already I think it's better indeed.
