I have dry patches on my body?

Hello, since about 1 month I have small dry patches that appear on my stomach and back. They are of different sizes and some look like pimples. I tried an eczema cream but it didn't help. Should I see a doctor? Can it be serious? And also I haven't changed anything about my skin products.
