My daughter got stung above the elbow today. The area is red, very hot and swollen. I marked the area with a pen. Should I give Benadryl? Should I give hydrocortisone? Thanks

Hello ma'am A 0.5 or 1% hydrocortisone cream can be applied to the affected area if the skin barrier is not broken. I suggest applying a fragrance-free moisturizer such as Aveeno as often as necessary, whenever the need to scratch arises.
