- Should I continue with Lax-A-Day? - Can I become addicted? - What can I do to soften my stool?

Hi, I have a 6 month old baby that I am breastfeeding and I have been taking domperidone (motilium) since he was 2 months old to help my production. I have been prescribed Lax-a-day since delivery (hemorrhoids) and I tried to stop because I had no more hemorrhoids, but my stools are constantly very hard and it hurts a lot when I go to the bathroom... even though I go every 1-2 days! Should I continue to take the Lax-A-Day? Am I addicted? I drink a lot of water, move around, eat a balanced diet, I don't understand what more I can do to help soften my stool considering I go almost every day

Hello, there is no risk of addiction with lax-a-day.
You can continue it regularly. Otherwise you could try to increase your fiber intake and drink at least 2 liters of water a day. Breastfeeding is very dehydrating.

Thank you for your answer!
so I can take the Lax-A-Day continuously? Because it says on the jar to take for 7 days. Can I take it every day until I stop breastfeeding?
