My ear piercing still doesn't seem to be healed after 7 months?

Hello I had a piercing in the top of my ear, in the cartilage, with a needle about 7 months ago. However, it is still not healed. There is still a scab around the piercing. When the scab falls off, another one is created and so on. Should I continue to disinfect with salt water or is there something else I can do?

Good morning, ma'am,
If this problem persists for all this time, the piercing will have to be removed to give the skin a chance to heal. Basic hygiene with water and mild soap once or twice a day should be sufficient. The piercing must also be cleaned and sterilized
Saline solution is not necessary for this purpose.
I understand that the removal of the piercing may cause concern that the piercing will close, but if it does, a new piercing can be done. A persistent wound that has lasted several months should be the priority
I remain available if you have any further questions
