My 8 month old baby has blood in his diaper is this normal?

Hello, My 8 month old baby has pink and bloody mucus in his diaper and sometimes mixed with his stool. (4 diapers since this morning). His condition seems fine, he laughs, but he has a new diaper rash but no visible cracks. He has not eaten anything red. Thank you for your help!
