Should I consult a doctor or wait a little longer if it goes away? What could be the cause? a bad posture? Thank you.

for the last 3 days i have had a headache, mostly on one side and the pain is accentuated when i lean forward, when i sneeze, when i cough, when i laugh and when i yawn. i have no other symptoms besides the headache, no dizziness or blurred vision. the tylenol helps a little but doesn't make it go away completely, when i'm lying down it almost disappears, but as soon as i get up it comes back.

Hello ma'am,
Your symptoms are similar to those of a migraine. However, you would need a diagnosis from a doctor to confirm the problem you are suffering from.
However, even without medical advice and a diagnosis, it is possible to use an over-the-counter treatment for headaches when there are no red flags (for example, intense thunderclap-like headaches, presence of visual disturbances, headaches starting after age 50 or occurring in a patient with a history of cancer, headaches increasing in intensity or with fever). Since you have no warning signs, over-the-counter treatment is appropriate for you. For example, in addition to Tylenol, Advil is an over-the-counter pain reliever that you could use, depending on your medical profile. Check with your pharmacy.
If the over-the-counter treatment does not work, a doctor's consultation should be made at this time to have a diagnosis, as specific medications may be prescribed depending on the cause identified by the doctor.
Hoping to have helped you,
Happy day 😊
