Should I see my family doctor? Are there any exercises that can help me with my pain? I already use resistance washers.

Hello, for some time now, I have been experiencing pain and weakness in my left hand and forearm. I have been a guitarist for about 15 years. My mother has generalized arthritis and my brother also has difficulty with his hands. I suspect that my case is related to my carpal tunnel (the pain is mostly in my wrist and fingers).

Hello!
In my opinion, the best thing to do is to consult a physiotherapist. He or she will be able to examine you to find the cause of the pain and then recommend exercises and an appropriate treatment plan, or advise you to see your doctor if further tests are needed. Perhaps an orthotic device could help you as well. The physio would be the best person to recommend one.
Note that most insurance companies cover physiotherapy treatments.
