I have been having uterine/pelvic pain (similar to menstrual cramps) for 7 days now, almost constantly. Should I seek help or what else can I try to manage the pain?

I have been having uterine/pelvic pain (similar to menstrual cramps) for 7 days now, almost constantly. I am not supposed to menstruate anytime soon, nor ovulate, according to my calendar. I don't take hormonal contraception, but I protect myself every time I have sex (so low risk of pregnancy). Neither tylenol 500mg nor advils 400mg work to manage my pain. I am not constipated either. I am able to function with the pain, but it is still quite unpleasant and it worries me.

I have been having uterine cramps for 7 days that cannot be due to my period, ovulation or constipation, and tylenols/advils do not ease my pain.

Hello Mrs.,
Your uterine pain can be caused by different reasons, and since it has persisted without improvement for 1 week despite an over-the-counter treatment, I advise you to consult a physician for an evaluation. The urgency to consult increases if the pain appeared suddenly and worsens with time.
