I took my pill late and now I have bleeding?

Hello, I had a copper IUD that caused a lot of pain before the beginning of my period and heavy periods. My doctor prescribed me the Yaz pill, I started the day even if the IUD was removed (8 days after the beginning of my last period). I took the first 8 pills at the same time, I forgot in the morning to take the one of the 9th day, but I took it 12 hours later than usual as soon as I noticed the forgetfulness and all the others until now 13th day were taken at the right time. Since day 9, I have been bleeding and it is increasing and not just light spotting, it is as if I had my period lightly. I know they say you have to wait 3 months, but I don't find this normal.

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question! While the situation can be quite unpleasant, it does not necessarily indicate a problem. The bleeding will go away on its own.
