Since 2 months, I have a spot (red, itchy) that appeared on my flank and others have appeared since. What can it be?

I came back from a trip to the south (cruise, pool, spa and beaches in the eastern caribbean) at the end of November (28). Since then, I've had little itchy red patches appear. The first time I noticed it was on my way back from the shower, I had a spot about $2 larger that was red and a little itchy. Since then, I've had a few more, but smaller ones, on my right side, on my stomach and on my back. About 7-8 small "patches/"redness". I wasn't too worried, thinking that it would surely pass with time.

Hello,
Just to orient myself, where on your body would the first lesion have appeared? Do you feel that the lesions are slightly elevated from your healthy skin? Do you have any pictures of the lesions?

It started on the side, along the ribs (on picture 1, it's the bottom spot)

And maybe a little elevated, I feel it to the touch, but barely!

I can't diagnose it as I'm not a doctor, but your situation and appearance reminds me of Gilbert's pink pytiriasis. Pytiriasis is a viral infection that affects young adults and starts with a single, slightly raised circular patch. Later, other smaller spots appear on the body.
If it is really this condition, it is self-limiting within 3 months, so it goes away by itself. If the itching is bothersome, a cortisone cream available in pharmacies can be applied.

Interesting! Thank you!!! So I'll wait a few more weeks and if it's not resolved I'll follow up with a doctor!!!
