I have had muscle pain in my upper left arm for almost a month?

Hello, I have had muscle pain in my left upper arm for almost a month. It's worse when I suddenly lift my arm very high or when I do certain stretches; it throws. I feel it mostly in the biceps, but sometimes I feel the throbbing radiate up to the neck or a little lower down the arm. I don't remember making a false move that could explain this. I have multiple sclerosis, but I don't think it's a symptom. Do you have any idea? I would love to see my doctor, but it is always full when I call and has been for weeks.

Good morning, ma'am,
This pain could be due to a muscle imbalance, a repeated movement, an unusual posture or position, among others.
Based on the description of your case, I believe that a consultation with a physiotherapist is your best option at this time. They are the professionals best placed to assess this type of pain and develop a realistic treatment plan for you to not only relieve it but avoid it in the future.
Most group insurances cover this type of service.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
