Hello,
It's actually safer not to fly right now, as you may get stuck in a foreign country as new territories announce quarantine attire and countries like the United States announce they will no longer welcome planes from certain locations.
If you really can't cancel a trip out of the country, carefully choose where you're going with the next👈. And check with your insurance, as some insurers do not cover hospitalization in some COVID-19-affected countries.
When you return from your trip, you should watch for symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing) for at least 14 days and check next👈 to see if you should visit a screening clinic at the onset of new symptoms. You should also avoid visiting loved ones with health problems or living in nursing homes during these 14 days, even if there are no symptoms.
As for event-related gatherings, they should be kept to a minimum as well. Also, be aware that several organizers have been cancelling sporting or cultural events for the past few days. It is therefore best not to make too many plans at this level.
Good day,
Alexandre Chagnon, pharmacist
