I have had persistent bleeding since receiving the contraceptive implant?

I have been on the implant since February. When I went to see the doctor a week ago about my constant menstruation for 4 weeks she only tested for chlamydia (and I have no results yet) but now I'm on the 5 week mark and the periods are getting redder and redder, but they are still light. Should I go see another doctor? Can I ask for specific tests? If so, which ones?
