My 10 month old baby doesn't take naps anymore, is this normal?

My baby is currently 10 months old and daytime naps are becoming more and more difficult. Normally he takes 2 naps during the day. One at 9:30-10am for about 1 to 2 hours and one in the afternoon around 1:30-2pm for about 1 to 2 hours. The bedtime on the other hand is easy and he falls asleep quickly around 8h30 PM to wake up around 6h00 the next day. On the other hand, this time he wakes up on average 1 to 3 times a night. Before, he had no difficulty taking his naps.

For about 1 month now my 10 month old baby doesn't want to take a nap. Naps at night are still easy, but he wakes up on average 1 to 2 times a night.

I sympathize with you, this situation can be very trying. I strongly invite you to consult this very well done and complete resource. Basically, you should try as much as possible to establish a specific routine, keeping in mind that it may take several days to weeks
There are also sleep consultants who can help you through the process.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
