How do you detect the signs of a vaginal yeast infection in a man?

I had a vaginal yeast infection and was told to treat my (male) sexual partner as well if he had symptoms. What are the symptoms and how do I treat them if there were? He told me he was a little itchy. Thank you for your help!

Men who have symptoms usually have itching, yes. Some also have redness on the glans.
