Is one of my medications preventing me from losing weight?

I have a question about the pills I take daily. I take Proxac, the Yaz pill, Valtrex every day and every 8 weeks I get a treatment of Stelara.

Good morning, ma'am,
Prozac can increase appetite in some people, but not directly increase weight. In this regard, moderate intensity exercise for at least 30 minutes a day and healthy eating habits are the best ways to lose weight safely and consistently and to help with depressive or anxiety symptoms
To this end, I would suggest a consultation with a nutritionist and/or kinesiologist who can develop realistic eating and exercise plans for you. Most group insurance plans cover these types of services
I hope that I have been of some help to you, and I am always available if you have any further questions!

i am very active, I walk and run 5km, I also go to the gym. My diet is healthy and I eat very little. I feel like there is something wrong with it. I was sick for a week, I couldn't eat and I didn't lose any weight while my friend who stopped eating for a week lost 10 pounds. Don't birth control pills make you gain weight? I'm sure if I stopped eating, I wouldn't even lose any weight. I wonder why! It baffles me

Thanks for the feedback! The contraceptive pill has no effect on body weight. Weight gain and loss can be summarized in a mathematical equation: if you burn more calories than you consume, you will lose weight, and vice versa
To this end, it is recommended to properly monitor and weigh the food you consume to ensure this.
If you are already doing this, I would suggest that you talk to your doctor, if only as a precaution.
Also, I strongly recommend that you do not compare yourself to other people's losses or gains. This is pointless because you are you, with your own diet and lifestyle. Also, I must admit that I am very surprised to read about a loss of 10 pounds in 1 week. The loss of such a weight is strongly discouraged because first of all it can be dangerous for your health and it is not a mode of loss that is sustainable over time.
Sincerely,
