I have frequent bleeding since I stopped taking the pill?

I stopped taking the birth control pill in November. Since then, I have had my period for about 5 days every two weeks. I thought it was getting better because I hadn't had my period in 21 days. However, I have now been on my period for 13 days and it is starting to get heavy again. I also have headaches and fatigue, lack of energy.
