I have a lot of nausea, stomach pain, difficulty eating, what can I do?

36-year-old woman2 years ago
Since Friday (3 days now), I have nausea, stomach ache, difficulty to eat and this is what increases my nausea. I also have slight dizziness and headache. I feel weak and lack energy. Need to sleep ++. Friday I had soft stools (4), Saturday and today it's 1 -2 formed. I take gravol ginger, tylenol, avoid coffee and eat light foods. I see some relief with gravol, but it's coming back.

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles! Would it be possible to know what dose of Gravol you are taking and how often?
Are you currently taking any other medications?

Thanks for the information!
If Gravol Ginger relieves your nausea, you can continue. There is also Gravol available without a prescription behind the pharmacy counter which is usually very effective in relieving nausea and dizziness. Only take note that it can greatly cause drowsiness.
You have done well with light foods such as soups, broths, toast, eggs, brown rice, and avoid very fatty or sweet foods such as red meat and undiluted fruit juices.
Be sure to stay hydrated, taking 1 sip of fluid every 3 to 5 minutes (do not drink too quickly as this can also trigger nausea).
If the nausea or diarrhea persists for more than 7 days without improvement or if you are unable to eat, you should seek medical attention.
I hope this has been helpful and I am available if you have any further questions!
