My 3 year old says his ear hurts to touch?

My 3 1/2 year old child says he has pain in his ear when he touches it. I am wondering if an over the counter medication would be enough to treat and what Dosage to use according to his age I was wondering if polysporin for otitis externa could be used for a child his age?

Hello ma'am, sorry to read about her troubles! The best treatment for pain is still acetaminophen (Tylenol, Tempra and other brands). The dose is given according to your child's weight.
