What to do about hard, swollen bites?

21-year-old woman2 years ago
Hello, I have been bitten by mosquitoes/flies for several days behind my head, ears and neck. I bled at each one. However, today my bites near my jaw and ears have swollen but one on my right side is very hard and big like a lump (I don't even know if it's a bite) it hurts a lot since yesterday evening and it's getting worse and worse. I wonder if it is my ganglion that is inflamed and why? Or is it an allergy to the sting which is strange because elsewhere on my body I'm fine (although I have less than in my ear). Thank you.

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
At present, only monitor the situation. There are many factors that can cause swollen nodes.
I encourage you to apply a fragrance-free moisturizer to the lesions, and apply cool compresses to the swollen areas as often as necessary.
If the situation persists for more than a week or gets worse, I suggest seeking medical attention, purely as a precautionary measure.
Hopefully, this has been helpful to you, so please do not hesitate if you have any further questions!

Thank you very much! Already today my bumps aren't as big but they still persist. At least there is a positive! Thanks again for the advice.
