I wonder what to do to reduce the pain (medication, food)? Also, I wonder if I should possibly consult?

My stomach has been hurting for about three days. I have pain in the area around my belly button. It feels like cramps/burning.

Hello!
To better assess the situation, I would like to ask you a few more questions:
  • Do you have any other symptoms, such as diarrhea, constipation or nausea?
  • When was your last bowel movement?
  • Are the symptoms getting worse in the last few days?
  • Do you have any genital symptoms, such as unusual discharge or odour?
  • Have you eaten anything new?
  • Does the pain feel like your usual menstrual pain?
  • Have you tried any treatments so far, and if so, which ones?
Thanks in advance for the clarification!

- No other symptoms.
- Last bowel movement was 24 hours ago.
- Not getting worse.
- I have some unusual discharge from before the stomach ache.
- I haven't missed anything new
- The pain is really in the gut/belly area. So no it's not like menstrual pain.
- Ginger gravols but no luck.
Thanks!

Thanks for the clarification!
Even though the last bowel movement was yesterday, I think the most likely cause is in the intestinal transit.
For now, if you want to try a treatment, Metamucil or Lax-a-day could be two appropriate options to ease the transit by their mild laxative effect:
  • Metamucil 1 to 2 teaspoons in 250ml of water 1 to 3 times a day
or
  • Lax-a-day 17g once a day
The effects are not instantaneous, but you should notice an improvement in symptoms within 2-3 days!
