What is the right dosage of Lax-A-Day for my 2 year old son who weighs 35 pounds?

My 2.5 year old son is often constipated. He already takes lax a day every day and drinks a lot of water. He weighs about 35lbs and right now I give him about 3g of lax a day in his milk in the morning.

Good morning, Mrs,
The amount of Lax-A-Day powder is given according to your child's weight, at the rate of 1 gram of powder per kg of your child's weight. For a child weighing 35 pounds (16 kg), this is equivalent to 16 grams of powder.
Your pharmacist will be able to tell you how to measure 16 grams considering the package only shows 17 grams for measurement.
This being said, if a lower dose is effective for your child, no need to increase.
I hope this has been helpful to you, and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
