I'm wondering if I should have her seen by a doctor to make sure it's eczema and maybe get a prescription?

Hello, for the past few months my one year old daughter has had a patch that looks like eczema behind her arm near her shoulder. Lately, the diameter of this patch has increased and sometimes stink comes out of it despite the application of eczema creams. However, my daughter does not seem to be in pain. In the last few months I have shown it twice to nurses and they told me to put cream on it.
