Use a fragrance-free soap such as Dove or other, avoid rubbing your hands dry, instead, lightly pat your hands to leave a thin layer of moisture and apply the moisturizer quickly after. This includes any time you apply a hydro-alcoholic gel as well. Wear gloves if you are handling irritating products such as washing dishes or other household tasks.
