I wonder if this is something I should be concerned about in terms of side effects of the drops (e.g. glaucoma attack)

Hello, I am currently taking drops (ZYMAR + MAXIDEX 4x a day) following a laser surgery last June 3. I started on Monday to have headaches in the following areas: middle of the forehead, temples and bones under the eyes, I sometimes have a little nausea and a little dizziness. I was wondering if this was a problem because of the drops or if it's because my eyesight is adjusting. I called the clinic where I had my surgery and they said it was probably my eyes straining, but I wanted to validate on the medication. Thank you for your help!!!

Hello,
Drops can sometimes give side effects other than in the eyes, but for that to happen they have to be absorbed and get into your bloodstream. To be absorbed, they must pass through the sinuses, via the tear duct in the corner of the eye.
To avoid this absorption, keep your eye closed for a few minutes after applying the drop by pressing lightly with your finger in the inner corner of the eye (to block the tear duct), after a good hand wash.

Hello,
If they are absorbed into the bloodstream, do the side effects dissipate once the drops are stopped? I only have one day left to take them.
I'm a little worried because I have a headache when I wake up and it follows me all day long (pressure on my forehead, temples and under my eyes)
Thank you for your help!

The product will be completely eliminated from your body within 24 hours, so the effects will also disappear quickly.
