I wonder if this is normal or I have an infection? And how to reduce the smell..thanks!

Hello! For about 2 months now, I have had a stronger than usual vaginal odor (between fish and cheese?). It's an odor that disappears for a few days and then returns. I don't feel like I've changed my habits. I don't use irritating soap either. It doesn't hurt me at all, doesn't sting me either...

An odour between fish and cheese is a sign of a bacterial infection. You need to see a doctor or nurse practitioner for treatment. It will not go away on its own. Over the counter creams (ex.: Canesten, Vagisil...) will not work.

Can you get me an appointment at a clinic or do I have to do it myself?
Are there any free clinics that you recommend?

Unfortunately I don't have a way to get you an appointment. You can try to go on Rendez-vous santé Québec. If you don't have a family doctor, you can contact the Guichet d'accès à la première ligne in your area.
