I forgot my antidepressant at work, can I take another kind instead?

Yesterday morning I forgot my medication for anxiety at work (mg zoloft) so since yesterday I have not been able to take my medication and I can only go to work tomorrow to get it. I still have some of my old medication (effexor) at home. I was wondering if I could take these while waiting to get my medication tomorrow or should I just wait until tomorrow?

Good morning, ma'am I do not recommend that you substitute your sertraline with Effexor. If you are unable to get to work to take the medication, I suggest contacting your pharmacy so that you can receive the medication today. Sincerely Tom Samaha, Pharmacist
