Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
Coughing can be very irritating for the throat, and there can be blood strands but the important thing is that it is temporary and does not increase
In order to decrease the cough I suggest, if not already done, nasal hygiene with a saline solution such as Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse which can be done as often as needed during the day. This can greatly decrease the mucus flow in the throat that often causes coughing.
I hope this has been helpful to you and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

Hello! Yes I give him also thanks to you because you had told me for me sinus rinse. He has this since yesterday it is not always light... according to you what do you mean by it does not last long? And if the amount is more important is it an emergency or is talking to his family doctor ok? Is the secretion coming from the lungs or the nose? Because strangely my cough is dry.... Thank you

Thanks for the feedback! If the presence of blood does not persist over time, usually 3 to 5 days maximum depending on the frequency of his cough and the frequency and strength with which he blows his nose. It's hard to tell if the secretions are coming from the nose or the lungs but most often it's coming from the sinuses. Even when the cough seems hollow it can be due to the discharge in the throat

Thank you for your answer. If I can continue in the same order idea... I take medicine with cortisone for the nose and syrup of codeine atlas. My ears hurt and I can feel that they are blocked and cracking... it hurts... what can I do? Is it an otitis or an accumulation of liquid? Thank you

If your ears are not completely blocked, yes the Sinus Rinse is a good option. A decongestant nasal spray like Drixoral or Dristan can also be tried after the Sinus Rinse. It's hard to say what exactly it is though.

Hello! Yes I am continuing sinus rinse but I doubt I can take dristan if I am already taking the cortisone spray? Yes it is painful and the cracking is really not pleasant. I will follow your advice

You can still use Dristan for a short period of time (max 5 days) even if you use the corticosteroid spray. A saline spray or gel (Secaris, Rhinaris gel) can be applied for dryness or irritation. Also, if you have electric heat, which can dry out the air, using a humidifier (set at 20%) may also help.
