Is skin fungus contagious?

Hello, this message is for Naji-tom! Finally my husband saw the doctor and he believes that it is fungus in the buttocks. I was wondering because I applied it if the fungus/mycosis is contagious? I washed my hand well but should I take gloves?

Hello ma'am, glad it was seen and treatment started!
Yes, fungus is contagious on contact, so either wear gloves, or wash your hands well before and after applications.

Great thanks! A wash with normal soap will do? For my part I also saw my family doctor I have sinusitis and antibiotics (amoxycycline) to take. She thinks it's from touching the areas she also said I was dehydrated so as you said I should drink well. I have light stomach pains but I think it's normal. The pharmacist told me that my treatment sometimes gave me diarrhea.

Yes a normal soap is enough :)
Amoxicillin can sometimes cause diarrhea, the risk is reduced if you take it in the middle of meals. I'm glad you were taken care of too.

Thank you for everything. I wanted to keep you posted as you have been a great help. I am going to do a good job of mixing and moisturizing more. Hopefully it will take effect quickly

Hello again! Me again... lol!
i'm not sure what to do about the amoxicillin antibiotic, could it give me vaginal itching? Yeast infection? If so what should I do? I have been taking it for 48 hours now. 3 times a day. Thank you so much for your help

Antibiotics can cause yeast vaginitis in women. Some people will be more susceptible than others. If you are prone to this type of infection, I invite you to talk to your pharmacist, several options exist for treatment :)
